If you’re a Marvel Comics fan you can pick up some pretty cool t-shirts on the cheap for $6 a pop. You can find a listing of all the shirts here. My favorite is the Venom one pictured below (3rd one).

The new Restaurant.com code is out and it is good for 80% off!!! The code is EIGHTY. Enjoy the food!
IHOP has an all-you-can-eat pancakes going on now through Halloween. I’m an IHOP fan as the food is good, fresh, and affordable and throw this all-you-can-eat promotion into the mix and it’s a can’t miss. You can read the official press release about this promotion here.
Since we’re talking food you can use this coupon to get a B1G1 free entre at Friday’s, but hurry as this expires on 10/17, and as always with scanned coupons use it at your own risk (meaning don’t blame me if it doesn’t work!)
I updated my older post about watching football for free and I’m writing a new post because I found a new site that provides links to all the games that are streaming live and can be watched on the internet. The site is http://www.howtowatchfootball.com and so far I’ve been very impressed with it. Today as an example there are over 15 college game links on there and if I was going to watch football on the tv I’d only have access to maybe 8 games during the entire day. So if you’re a college football fan or NFL fan this is definitely a must have bookmark site for you. Enjoy the games!

So He-Man and She-Ra were on sale for $10 per volume and now the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Volumes are on sale for $9.99 per season (these are the box set dvds). You can get volumes 1-6 for $9.99 each. Here is volume 1 and here is volume 2. If you want volumes 3-6 you can simply search for them. This is a “special offer” $9.99 price so that means it won’t last forever I’m guessing. I won’t be plastering the site with 80′s cartoon dvd box sets, but I feel that He-Man and TMNTs were classic enough to be worthy of mentions in case you want to have your kids watch some shows that you may have grown up on.

Grab the first 3 seasons of Grey’s Anatomy for $57.99 shipped. These normally sell for $40+ per season in the past so this is a pretty nice combo offer. I’ve seen a few episodes and while they are entertaining it is too much like a soap opera for me. But the females I know absolutely love the show.
Now that Black Friday is creeping up on us don’t forget I have an open standing offer to give away free Wii’s and games to go along with it to anyone who submits a Black Friday flyer to the site before it is published anywhere else online for a major retailer. If interested you can read my offer here.
Now that the NFL (and college football) seasons are back in full swing if you feel like catch some games on the internet you can read this article I wrote from last year (which is the most popular article on the site). If you for whatever reason didn’t get the Monday Night Football double header tonight on your tube you could have watched them online.
Update on the General Motors diet ~ I did the GM Diet a few months ago (you can read about it here) and I had someone ask me recently how I’m doing now that it’s been a few months. I’ve actually lost a few additional pounds. Since I started the diet until today I lost 18 pounds. I no longer eat late at night and I’m not as hungry as I was in the past. I dropped a full size in pants and the shirts that I had from two years ago fit me again! While the week of dieting was not very fun and required willpower I think it was one of my best decisions of the year. If you want to lose some weight or change your eating habits I highly recommend the diet, but make sure you’re willing to stick to it for the full week.
Freebie of the Day: Thanks to Mikimadess for posting this freebie for a free bra. Who can’t use a free bra? Even if you’re a guy you can tie it around your head and pretend you just went on a panty raid (at least I’d find that funny). Or maybe donating it to Goodwill would make a little more sense. Regardless of what you do, enjoy the bra!

If you’re interested look on the right hand side of the homepage and scroll down a little bit until you see the spot that says “Subscribe2″ and it gives an empty box for you to enter your email to subscribe.
Freebie of the Day: You can make international calls for free (thanks to Mikimadness for finding this freebie). You can get more information on this deal here. Enjoy the overseas calls!

Best Buy is offering a promotion on Blu Ray DVDs where you can select two of them (from a list of 30) and get them for $30 total (prices are around $19.99 each so you’re saving a ten spot). You can pick up the Nextar 3.5″ GPS unit for $75 after rebate and coupon. This is a pretty hot price for a cost conscious shopper. Here is a link to the info and the coupon.

If you ever had an interest in making copies of DVDs but didn’t know how, or you got held up by the protection they install
in the DVDs nowadays I will share with you how you can get around this. First you will need a DVD burner. These are pretty standard with a lot of new computers nowadays, but if you have an older computer, or if by chance yours didn’t come with one don’t worry, you can pick one up for an affordable price nowadays. Go HERE and look for Item#:N82E16827151153. |
This is a Samsung 20X SATA DVD+/-RW Drive which costs a whopping $24.99 with free shipping. Ok, so now you have a DVD burner and we’re all on the same page now. Now you need decoding software to remove that protection that Hollywood loves to install on DVDs. My recommendation is picking up AnyDVD which is made by Slysoft (you can find this program Here). There is also AnyDVDHD for decoding HD DVDs and Blu Ray DVDs. This software is a little pricey at 50 euros for the AnyDVD (which is around $75 dollars I believe), but I believe it is worth it, here’s why: I purchased this software about 6 years ago. Every time that Hollywood changed the protection on DVDs, Slysoft would create a patch that they will provide to you for free to update your program so you never have to worry about the software becoming obsolete. Now you may already have a DVD copying program installed on your computer. If not Slysoft also has CloneDVD which is used to copy the DVD. Just to be clear, AnyDVD will decrypt the protection coding on the DVD which ‘opens’ the DVD up to be copied, CloneDVD is what will copy the DVD to your blank DVD. And speaking of blank DVDs, that is the last item you will need. The prices of blank DVDs have come way down in the past year. Here’s a pack of 100 blank DVDs for $24.99 as an example (if you wait for a good sale you should be able to get this for under $20). And there you have it: 1. DVD burner 2. DVD decoding program 3. DVD burning program 4. blank DVDs – You are now ready to copy away.
