If you need some extra Christmas cash or if you are a Stargate fan, this ought to catch your attention. Here you can grab the entire Stargate DVD Complete Series (all 54 DVDs) for $99.99 with free shipping. The next cheapest place online that I have seen is selling this for $220. I checked Ebay and this is selling anywhere from $135 to $170 (depending on how lucky you are with your auction). If you’re a fan, then grab this as it is a one day sale. If you need some extra Christmas cash then grab 3 of these (3 is the max per account). You’ll spend $300 with free shipping. List them on Ebay right now (yes, right now, even before you receive them). Do a 3 day auction. By the time you receive them your auctions have ended and you can ship them out (you don’t even need to package them as they’ll already be in a box, lol). You should be able to profit $100-$200 and spend about 30 minutes total of doing ‘work’. Enjoy and happy profiting!

Lost Seasons 1-3 for $59.99 with free shipping!
If you have a spare $60 RUN to grab this. This is my favorite show on TV and if you haven’t watched this, you’ll be entertained for hours on end. Lost never goes on sale (especially for $20/season) and this price beats the prices these sell for on Ebay! (hint hint if you want to try to make a profit you could get about $30/season).
Amazon wants to get your Black Friday business so they are going to offer you DVDs for $1.99, Seasons of Entourage 1-3 for $9.99 each, new release DVDs for under $10 (including Iron Man which I heard was very good), along with Blu Ray deals….

If you want to see all of Amazon’s Black Friday deals you can see them here.

If you love The Family Guy (I do!) then here is the best price I’ve ever seen for the Complete Series, $59.99 with free shipping! You get all 6 seasons, you get the Blue Harvest episode and you get the Stewie Griffin movie. This has to be the ultimate Christmas present and it’s a one day sale only (unless it sells out early and then you’re out of luck) so jump on this ASAP. My prediction is a quick sell out on this!

If you’re a fan of Jack Bauer here’s your chance to pick up all the seasons of 24 for an awesome price. I remember these used to sell at Best Buy for $40-50 per season and they would sell like hotcakes. I’m a HUGE 24 fan (even though Season 6 was a letdown from episode 3 on) and this is a series that you can watch more then once (I’m currently on my 2nd time viewing them all). If you like action, plot twists, unique characters, and having that all thrown into one day (i.e. 24 hours) then this series will be for you.

If you’re a big Seinfeld fan then here is a big sale for you, the entire series DVD Boxed Set for half price. You can grab it here and it is shipped free. This boxed set received 4.5 out of 5 stars (who gave it LESS THEN A 5?) and it has to be one of the best shows ever made. If you didn’t know what to get Dad for Christmas, here you go! Enjoy!

Taco Bell has a promotion where if someone steals a base in the World Series they’ll give away free tacos to everyone. Today is the day to claim your free taco, but you have to go between 2:00-6:00! Here is the official page where they make the offer to everyone. And this is their official press release which I’ll copy below:
Taco Bell® restaurants across the country are preparing for one of the biggest taco giveaways in the company’s history. As the Official Quick Service Restaurant of Major League Baseball®, Taco Bell® will serve up millions of Americans a free Crunchy Seasoned Beef Taco as part of its “Steal A Base, Steal A Taco” World Series promotion.
Baseball and taco fans alike can get their free taco by simply visiting a participating Taco Bell restaurant on Tuesday, October 28 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (local time). No purchase is required; one taco per customer.
Tampa Bay Rays shortstop Jason Bartlett stole free tacos for America from Taco Bell, as he stole second base in the bottom of the 5th inning of Game 1 at the World Series.
“When I was running back out to the field for defense after the fifth inning, I was told that Taco Bell was going to give everyone in America a free taco,” said Bartlett. “The first thing that crossed my mind was all of my buddies back home in California who are probably on their way to Taco Bell that very minute. It’s pretty cool. I’m sure I’m going to get more than a few text messages from my friends thanking me for winning them a taco, I guess.”
Taco Bell has a long history of “Think Outside the Bun®” promotions with Major League Baseball. In addition to last year’s successful “Steal A Base, Steal A Taco” World Series promotion, the company has also placed its famous “Free Taco” target at multiple World Series games. Taco Bell is currently in its fifth year as an Official Sponsor of Major League Baseball.

You can grab this deal here. It is just in time for the Halloween season and is 62% off the retail price. Here’s the description:
In the trinity of modern horror films, there’s the father (Michael Myers of Halloween), the son (Jason of Friday the 13th fame, a knockoff), and the unholy spirit, Freddy Krueger of the Nightmare on Elm Street films. The spectral man who haunted the nightmares of unsuspecting teenagers with deadly consequences, Freddy (as played by Robert Englund) was a truly frightening bogeyman and icon for the ’80s. Unlike the hockey-masked Jason, who dispatched horny teenagers with mechanical and monotonous ease (he never talked, never took off his mask), Freddy was a truly creative and diabolical villain, with a sadistic and blackly funny personality. The hallmarks of the Nightmare on Elm Street series were imaginatively gruesome suspense pieces, set in the overactive imaginations of the teen victims. The first film of the series, Wes Craven’s truly intelligent and scary film, was so hugely successful it begat not one, not two, but six more sequels, each pretty much diluting the originality and horror of its predecesor. (Horror fans will fondly remember Drew Barrymore’s assertion in Scream that the first Nightmare film was great but all the rest sucked.) Still, there’s fun to be had in the remaining films in the series, seeing as a number of aspiring filmmakers cut their teeth on the continuing saga of Freddy. Frank Darabont (The Shawshank Redemption) and Chuck Russell (The Mask) worked on the third installment, Dream Warriors (starring a young Patricia Arquette), and Renny Harlin (Die Hard 2) came to prominence with the ingeniously macabre fourth film, The Dream Master, coscripted by Brian Helgeland (L.A. Confidential). Craven and original star Heather Langenkamp did return for the last film, New Nightmare, which presaged the tongue-in-cheek postmodernism of the Scream films and resharpened Freddy’s ability to scare. –Mark Englehart

This is a one day deal which is red hot in my opinion as you’re saving 60% off the retail price. You can find the deal here. So what is the deal, well you can get the Marvel Heroes DVD Boxed Set for $28 shipped. In this set you get all three of the X-Men movies, Daredevil, Elecktra, and both Fantastic Four movies (so 7 movies in total). This can be one of those Christmas presents that someone will think you paid $50 or $60 for so the $28 pricetag can be your little secret. I personally enjoyed the X-Men movies, but I haven’t caught any of the other ones yet. Enjoy!
If you use Ebay and have a Paypal account you could get a great deal right now! You also need a Microsoft Live Cashback account. If you don’t have this simply go to Live.com. Look near the links at the top right of the page and you’ll see one that says “Cashback”. Click on that, create a free account (takes 2 minutes) and you’re ready to roll. I just completed two purchases on Ebay, one for a Staples gift card for $225 which in the end will cost me $150 and another one for a JCPenny gift card for $300 which in the end will cost me $210.
Here is how you can score this deal. Go to Live.com and search for an item (I’ve been using the term ‘cheap wii’). The results will pop up and they’ll look like this:

Ok, so you see where it says “You may get 30% off with Paypal”… click on that Ebay link. You’ll be directed to Ebay. Notice at the top of Ebay now there is a small little banner that mentions the 30% off. Now search for any item you want that is offered with the “Buy It Now” feature. (buying vehicles or real estate does not qualify) So as an example you can search the gift cards. You’ll notice that a lot of clowns are selling a $500 gift card for $550 because if you buy it and get the 30% cashback you’ll get $165 cash back so the $500 gift card will cost you $550-$165 = $385 in the end (I should mention that it takes 60 days for you to get your cash back… but there is no risk because the cash back is given to you by Microsoft so I don’t think they’re going to wrong you). So if you wanted that gift card you have to purchase it via Buy It Now and you have to pay for it via Paypal in order to qualify for the Cash Back.
Once you complete the purchase and pay for it just wait. In under 24 hours you’ll have a message in your Ebay account saying that you’ve qualified for cash back and to click the link. The link will bring you to Live. Just sign into your Live account and your Cash Back will then be credited within 24 hours. It takes 60 days to clear and then you can transfer the cash back into your Paypal account.
I can verify first hand that this process works as I participated in it a few months ago when they first offered it and I received my cash back. Normally the cash back off for Ebay is 8% so this 30% is a steal. If you’ve been waiting to buy a big item like a PS3 or Wii this is a good time to pick it up.
Please note that you can only do 1 transaction per session (meaning after you complete the purchase close your internet explorer, reopen one and do the search on Live.com again if you wanted to buy a second item). Also, the max cash back you can get per transaction is $200 (meaning if you buy something that costs $667 you’ll get $200 cash back. if you buy anything more expensive then $667 you’ll still only get $200 cash back). And finally you can only receive cash back on 6 transactions per Ebay account. So don’t do 20 transactions and get disappointed…
If you need an idea or two you may want to consider buying stamps as something practical. Some people offer large quantities of the Forever stamps and this is a smart way to save money in the future. Gift cards (if you can find a reasonably priced one) is always a good idea. And the most popular use of this promotion is electronics.
Good luck and happy hunting!
If you like playing bocce ball (which I love), croquet (which I enjoy doing), or horseshoes (which I also love) and you need a new set of any of them they are all on sale. ESPN Brand Bocce balls are on sale for $9.97, ESPN Horseshoes are on sale for $14.99, and Halex Croquet set is on sale for $9.97. These also could make some nice (affordable) Christmas gifts for males of any age.

Freebie of the Day: You can get a free one year subscription to Antiques Magazine here. Thanks to SCC76 for posting this deal in the freebies forum!

The Entertainment Book is 40% off now for a limited time only. If you like coupons you’ll love this book and the purchase price (between $10-$30 after discount depending on your zip code) will save you hundreds of dollars! There are restaurants, local attractions, and more… it really depends on where you live as the coupons are for things local to you (i.e. each zip code has their own book). There is also free shipping on this promotion so you can’t go wrong. And if you need a Christmas gift for someone who is hard to shop for, this is the ideal gift in my opinion. I give at least 5 of these as presents each year and the receipients always love it. Enjoy!
UPDATE: If that link doesn’t work for the 40% off try this one: Alternate Link

I thought this was cool enough to share… So have you ever searched Yahoo but you didn’t find what you were looking for so you hopped over to Google or MSN or Ask. Well, instead of hopping around what if you could search them all from one spot? Searchomatic.net let’s you search all the major search engines along with popular sites like Ebay, Myspace, Facebook, Amazon, Digg, and more. You can also add or remove which sites you want to search using the “add” feature. Since it is easy and free to use I just turned it into my homepage and thought if you hadn’t heard of it, it is worth checking out.
This Craftsman 6.5lb Snow Blower is on sale for $279.99 which is around 30% off the regular price. I want to say that last year once winter hit no snow blowers were on sale (correct me if I’m wrong) so if you pick one up a few months early it could save you a Benjamin Franklin. And if you pay someone to plow your driveway, instead of paying $25 a pop this snow blower will pay itself off after 11 uses.

Freebie of the Day: You can grab a 2009 Calendar for free here. Thanks to Pattikay for posting this deal in the freebies forum!

If you were growing up in the 80′s and had cable TV then you probably went to bed a few times scared of a man with a burnt face and claws for fingers… the entire Nightmare on Elm Street boxed DVD set is on sale for $22.99. I haven’t seen any of these since the prior century so I’m curious if these would now be cheesy or if they’d still be good scary flicks… With Halloween coming up it may be something to get to entertain some guests with, lol.
This article came out today saying that Disney will allow anyone and everyone to go to Disney World for free on their birthday next year. That is a pretty cool deal and while it may not make you fly down to Florida (or Calfornia) just for the promotion if you do happen to be in the area it is something you should take advantage of. Or if you have a twin, or are one of a set of triplets then maybe a little sibling trip is in order? Here’s a snippet of the article:
That’s the cornerstone of the 2009 national promotional campaign, “What will you celebrate?” announced today by Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. Anyone showing up with a valid ID including proof of birthdate will get a free ticket on that day in 2009 for one of the theme parks at Disney World or at Disneyland in California.
