Bocce Ball, Croquet, or Horseshoe Sets on Sale: $9.97 ($14.99 for Horseshoes)

If you like playing bocce ball (which I love), croquet (which I enjoy doing), or horseshoes (which I also love) and you need a new set of any of them they are all on sale.  ESPN Brand Bocce balls are on sale for $9.97, ESPN Horseshoes are on sale for $14.99, and Halex Croquet set is on sale for $9.97.  These also could make some nice (affordable) Christmas gifts for males of any age.

2009 Entertainment Book 40% Off Now! Limited Time…

The Entertainment Book is 40% off now for a limited time only.  If you like coupons you’ll love this book and the purchase price (between $10-$30 after discount depending on your zip code) will save you hundreds of dollars!  There are restaurants, local attractions, and more… it really depends on where you live as the coupons are for things local to you (i.e. each zip code has their own book).  There is also free shipping on this promotion so you can’t go wrong.  And if you need a Christmas gift for someone who is hard to shop for, this is the ideal gift in my opinion.  I give at least 5 of these as presents each year and the receipients always love it.  Enjoy!

UPDATE: If that link doesn’t work for the 40% off try this one: Alternate Link

Search All The Search Engines from One Place

I thought this was cool enough to share…  So have you ever searched Yahoo but you didn’t find what you were looking for so you hopped over to Google or MSN or Ask.  Well, instead of hopping around what if you could search them all from one spot?  Searchomatic.net let’s you search all the major search engines along with popular sites like Ebay, Myspace, Facebook, Amazon, Digg, and more.  You can also add or remove which sites you want to search using the “add” feature.  Since it is easy and free to use I just turned it into my homepage and thought if you hadn’t heard of it, it is worth checking out.

This Craftsman 6.5lb Snow Blower is on sale for $279.99 which is around 30% off the regular price.  I want to say that last year once winter hit no snow blowers were on sale (correct me if I’m wrong) so if you pick one up a few months early it could save you a Benjamin Franklin.  And if you pay someone to plow your driveway, instead of paying $25 a pop this snow blower will pay itself off after 11 uses.

Freebie of the Day: You can grab a 2009 Calendar for free here.  Thanks to Pattikay for posting this deal in the freebies forum!

The Nightmare on Elm Street Complete Collection $22.99

If you were growing up in the 80′s and had cable TV then you probably went to bed a few times scared of a man with a burnt face and claws for fingers…  the entire Nightmare on Elm Street boxed DVD set is on sale for $22.99.  I haven’t seen any of these since the prior century so I’m curious if these would now be cheesy or if they’d still be good scary flicks…  With Halloween coming up it may be something to get to entertain some guests with, lol.

Go to Disney for Free!!!… (on your Birthday)… (in 2009)

This article came out today saying that Disney will allow anyone and everyone to go to Disney World for free on their birthday next year.  That is a pretty cool deal and while it may not make you fly down to Florida (or Calfornia) just for the promotion if you do happen to be in the area it is something you should take advantage of.  Or if you have a twin, or are one of a set of triplets then maybe a little sibling trip is in order?  Here’s a snippet of the article:

That’s the cornerstone of the 2009 national promotional campaign, “What will you celebrate?” announced today by Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. Anyone showing up with a valid ID including proof of birthdate will get a free ticket on that day in 2009 for one of the theme parks at Disney World or at Disneyland in California.

Flip It and Watch It

The Flip video camera (for those not up to date on the newest electronic gizmos) is a small video camera, as in the size of a digital camera.  The model above takes 60 minutes of video and you can plug it into your computer to download it very easily… see that plug sticking out?  That is a USB connection (it flips down in case you can’t tell from the picture) and you plug that into your computer the same way you would a thumb drive and your video will then be on your computer.  This normally runs $140+ but is currently on sale for $89.99 here.  Even if you have no luck with electronics this is so easy to use anyone can use it.  I have friends that swear by it and I’ve experimented with their Flips and I’m a fan.  I was waiting for a good price and this $89.99 price is the lowest I’ve seen so I’m on the edge of jumping in on the deal.  And now that I noticed the shipping is free I’m about to pull the trigger on this one.  Maybe I can post some videos on the site in the future!  Enjoy the Flip!

Freebie of the Day: Get a free sample of Airborne here.  Thanks to Vhjetski81 for posting this freebie.  If you’re not familiar with Airborne it is supposed to be a preventive medicine to help you avoid colds and that type of thing when you just begin to feel one coming on.  Does it work?  I don’t know, anyone have any experience with it?

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Grey’s Anatomy, and some Updates

So He-Man and She-Ra were on sale for $10 per volume and now the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Volumes are on sale for $9.99 per season (these are the box set dvds).  You can get volumes 1-6 for $9.99 each.  Here is volume 1 and here is volume 2.  If you want volumes 3-6 you can simply search for them.  This is a “special offer” $9.99 price so that means it won’t last forever I’m guessing.  I won’t be plastering the site with 80′s cartoon dvd box sets, but I feel that He-Man and TMNTs were classic enough to be worthy of mentions in case you want to have your kids watch some shows that you may have grown up on.

Grab the first 3 seasons of Grey’s Anatomy for $57.99 shipped.  These normally sell for $40+ per season in the past so this is a pretty nice combo offer.  I’ve seen a few episodes and while they are entertaining it is too much like a soap opera for me.  But the females I know absolutely love the show.

Now that Black Friday is creeping up on us don’t forget I have an open standing offer to give away free Wii’s and games to go along with it to anyone who submits a Black Friday flyer to the site before it is published anywhere else online for a major retailer.  If interested you can read my offer here.

Now that the NFL (and college football) seasons are back in full swing if you feel like catch some games on the internet you can read this article I wrote from last year (which is the most popular article on the site).  If you for whatever reason didn’t get the Monday Night Football double header tonight on your tube you could have watched them online.

Update on the General Motors diet ~ I did the GM Diet a few months ago (you can read about it here) and I had someone ask me recently how I’m doing now that it’s been a few months.  I’ve actually lost a few additional pounds.  Since I started the diet until today I lost 18 pounds.  I no longer eat late at night and I’m not as hungry as I was in the past.  I dropped a full size in pants and the shirts that I had from two years ago fit me again!  While the week of dieting was not very fun and required willpower I think it was one of my best decisions of the year.  If you want to lose some weight or change your eating habits I highly recommend the diet, but make sure you’re willing to stick to it for the full week.

Freebie of the Day: Thanks to Mikimadess for posting this freebie for a free bra.  Who can’t use a free bra?  Even if you’re a guy you can tie it around your head and pretend you just went on a panty raid (at least I’d find that funny).  Or maybe donating it to Goodwill would make a little more sense.  Regardless of what you do, enjoy the bra!

He-Man & She-Ra DVD Box Sets ~ $9.99 per Season!!!

If you were alive in the 80′s then I’d be willing to bet you know He-Man and She-Ra.  I remember I used to love watching He-Man though for the life of me I can’t remember much anything about the show now.  Well that is about to change.  Here you can grab many different seasons of He-Man or She-Ra for $9.99 per season!  Just search for “He-Man” or “She-Ran” and they’ll all pop up.  This is a sale price compared to the normal $29.99 price.  I ordered the first volume of He-Man for old times sake.  I’m thinking of ordering the second volume too because I’m sure this sale price won’t be around in a few days so I may pull the trigger on that too.  These sets come with either 5 or 6 DVDs per set, so for $10 per volume you’re only paying $2 or less per DVD, pretty hot!  Now where is the sale for the Thundercats???  Enjoy!

Huge DVD Blowout Sale: 3 DVDs for $10… Over 375 to Choose From!!!

If you want to pick up some DVDs on the cheap now is the time to do it!  There are over 375 to choose from and some of the titles are good movies (much to my initial surprise).  Stock up for Christmas or birthdays and no one will know you only paid $3.33 per DVD!!!  The sale is going on here, I’m not sure how long it will last so don’t wait in case it is a one day sale!  After I finish writing this I’m going to do some early Christmas shopping myself…

You can find a $40 off $199 Coupon for Circuit City here.  You need to print it out and use it at the store but beware it is not guaranteed to work.  If you’re going to the store anyways then it is definitely worth a shot though…

And if you eat at Red Robin you can buy their cookbook here for $5 and they’ll give you a $10 Red Robin gift certificate for free!  Not a bad deal.  There aren’t any around me, but I did manage to eat a burger at one in Pennsylvania a month ago.  The burger was good but kind of pricey ($9.xx for a burger seems quite high to me).

Freebie of the Day: You can get a free corrections pen here.  Thanks to Mikimadness for posting this freebie!

Two Pool Tables for Under $100 Each ~ Limited Quantity Available

The Mizerak 8 foot Bella Vista pool table is on clearance sale for $99.99!!!  This includes the legs and rails kit and the slatron top.  This is an awesome price for a full sized pool table and I actually purchased this table a few months ago when it was $200, and at $200 I was very happy with it so for $100 it is an absolute steal.  There are limited quantities available and it is a pickup only item so not everyone is able to get in on this (they don’t have any more local for me).  When you pick it up you’ll need a SUV size vehicle (I borrowed a Durango and it fit in the back).

If the 8 foot table is not available in your local area then you may want to see if this 7 foot Mizerak Livingston table is available, it too is $99.99.  The 7 footer may be good if you don’t have room for an 8 footer, or for kids to play on.  These are both decent tables which won’t satisfy a pro but for the regular guy (like me) they definitely are an affordable addition to your home.

Freebie of the Day: Thanks to Bumblebear for finding this freebie, it is a free Degree men’s deordorant.   So unless you like having that natural body odor (a la the French) then why not pick up some free freshness?  Enjoy!
