Get a Laptop Cooler for Free (actually you’ll turn a profit) & Watch some Aliens for a Discount
We all like getting things for free so if you have a laptop but didn’t want to spend the money on a laptop cooler (which I recommend, I have one myself and it saves my lap from the heat) then you can get this one for F-R-E-E after rebate (actually you’ll make a profit). This deal is only good until 8/19. Shipping is free. So here’s the quick math… The price is $9.99, so you pay $9.99. Shipping is free so.. And the rebate is $12. In the end your lap will thank you and you’ll have free cash to buy 2 things on the Mickey D’s dollar menu (which for health reasons I would not recommend, but your taste buds will beg you to do it).
Grab Roswell Seasons 1-3 for $41.99 shipped (for all three seasons). This is the complete series. I watched this entire seasons a few years ago and I admit that I liked it. This may be a one day offer. About this series, nothing too intellectual about it, what you’ll see is what you’ll get. Nothing as intricate as Prison Break or as action packed as 24 or as mysterious as Lost. But if you want a simple series, that is fun, and easy on the mind then this is for you (it received 4.5 out of 5 stars on the user reviews). Here’s the description:
Opening with a Dido theme song and featuring character-driven, sweet-natured melodrama, Roswell was a show with a surprisingly dedicated fandom, who twice won it reprieve from cancellation. One of its main strengths was, of course, the extent to which its premise–alien teenagers trying to sort out their identities while emotionally involved with their human contemporaries–was a free-floating metaphor for race and sexuality issues. Another was the strong ensemble that its cast developed: you believed in the strangeness of the alien trio and the well-intentioned normality of their three human friends. Jason Behr gave the alien Max a quiet authority and Majendra Delfino took the sidekick role of Maria and gave it both intensity and fine comic timing. It was also a show in which you were never sure which adults you could trust–William Sadleir trod a fine line of ambiguity as the local sheriff and Julie Benz was silkily sinister as an FBI agent. Anyone who ever loved this show will want these DVDs–and many others may want to find out what the fuss was about.
