If so then you may want to check out these pretty nifty deals. You can pick up a 3 pack of Bill Murray movies, Groundhog Day (one of my all time favorites), Stripes, and Ghostbusters for $7.98 shipped. You can check that out Here. If Mel Gibson is your man (and that weird happening about the drunken driving rambling didn’t scare you off) then you can pick up Lethal Weapon 1-4 (yes, all 4 of them) for $10.50 (orders of $25 or more are shipped free). You can find that deal Here. And finally if Steven Seagal is more your flavor you can pick up 4 of his flicks for $11.99 (I won’t tell you which four, I’ll leave it as a little surprise so you have something to look forward to), so check them out Here. Also, drop me a line (via the comments) and let me (and everyone) know who you think is the best out of those 3 actors, and what the greatest movie ever starring any of those three guys is (I know my choice already)…

Today I am posting a guest entry from a UsedShoe member concerning a good cause which I hope everyone will take some time to participate in:
“I know you all are used to getting a good deal delivered to you each day, but today is a little different.
While I was searching the internet for deals last night, I came across a site that really opened my eyes to something. I don’t know if any of your lives have been affected by autism or not, but by the end of watching this video, I hope you have a renewed appreciation for these children and their families. There is a band called Five for Fighting and they are donating $0.49 each time this video is watched to AutismSpeaks, a group that helps raise money for research studies to aide in finding a cure for autism. Their goal is 10,000 hits, but imagine how many people we can reach with the world wide web! We can make a difference every time we are watching this. Please pass this on to everyone on your email list and ask them to do the same. Please, take five minutes to open your hearts to these children and watch the video. Thank you!!!

So if you’re a reader of the site you’ll know that I was going for a free 42′ Plasma TV. If you’re not familiar with this you can get up to speed by reading the story here. I completed the offers, I waited 9 weeks and I got nothing. I emailed the company to inquire where my TV was and I was told that my acount was on hold because I violated their terms about providing truthful information (which I was shocked about for 2 reasons… #1. I did not intentionally give anyone false information and #2. I was not happy that after waiting 9 weeks they tell me this after I HAD TO CONTACT THEM, they could have told me this whenever they discovered they had a problem with my account instead of keeping me here waiting for my TV which was never coming). They went on to say that if I wanted any more information I would need to write to their legal department. How about an email or a phone call…? Talk about making things a hassle for the customer (though they probably do this because they hope people won’t write). So I wrote to their legal department. I received a response today which said the following: “The social security number you provided was searched by the IRS and did not match any on the public records. We regret to inform you that your account for PlasmaTV4Free.com will not be released from its hold. “
I have two problems with this… #1. I provided my social security number from memory because I did not feel like searching for last year’s tax return to find it. If I did not provide them with the correct number it must have been a simple mistake which I would expect them to allow me to correct. But nope, no corrections allowed here, appearantly if you make a mistake you will pay for it by not receiving your free TV. #2. I am shocked that the IRS would relay any information concerning my social security number to them. Your social security number is your most important form of ID and should also be the most secret. The IRS should never verify your SS# to anyone, they should contact me if there is an issue. Imagine if a scam company gives the IRS a list of SS#’s and asks them to verify them, will the IRS simply point out which ones are valid and which ones are incorrect? Am I wrong here???
This experience has left a sour taste in my mouth. I think the website that runs this offer is sad. They made money off of the 12 offers I spent my time and money completing, and because I made an honest mistake (or so they say) they wipe their hands of me (and I will never know if the number I provided to them was my SS# or if I made a mistake, so this could all be a lie so that they don’t have to give me the TV). So to PlasmaTV4Free.com… you suck.
I learned a lesson so I guess my time and effort trying to complete this offer taught me something at the very least…

If you didn’t get in on this last time now is your chance. Here you go! If you are not familiar with this offer, you can get a Senseo coffee pod machine (the ones that they sell in Walmart for $60) for free (you need to pay $15 for shipping/handling). I got one months ago when this offer came out and I love the machine. It makes one cup per use which is perfect for me and it is hassle free and no cleaning is necessary. No idea how long this new offer will be up so if you want it then jump on it now. If you want more then one you should be able to score multiple ones if you use different email address. Enjoy!

Before I get to the deal I’d like to apologize to anyone who has received multiple emails about the same deal recently. This was unintentional and I have upgraded two programs to hopefully correct the issue (we’ll see in a minute or two…).
Now to the deal… you can get a Mustang Flat Panel Wall Mount for F R E E after rebate. These are two different sizes available, one for 26 inch - 36 inch tvs and the other for 37 inch to 50 inch tvs. You can find the specs on this deal HERE.
Another side deal you may want to take advantage is there is a set of 3 cast iron skillets on sale for $14.99. You can get free shipping if you order $25 or more, find this info HERE.

I’m a huge fan so I already own all the box set seasons that are out, but if you don’t you can get them for $9.50 per season (I paid around $15/season a few months ago which was dirt cheap back then). Check out HERE to find out about this deal.
Also, if you need some hard drive storage space, check out the hot deals Forum section. A Maxtor 500 gig external is $90 with free shipping and a 200 gig Maxtor internal is $30 shipped.

If you’re not a Rambo fan you won’t care, but if you are then you’ll love this deal! Check out your local Walmart’s DVD section. They should be selling a 3 pack DVD set of the first 3 Rambo movies for $14.98. Look for a sticker on the pack that says there is a movie ticket for the new upcoming Rambo movie inside. Since movie tickets go for the ridiculous amount of $10 nowadays (unless you buy cheaper ones through Triple A or another method which I would recommend) that means you’re getting a $10 ticket and 3 Rambo DVDs for $15 which is a great deal in my book!!! Enjoy the movie(s)!

This will sell out quickly so jump on it now if you want it. You can get a plush fleece throw for $4.99. Using a code you can get either a 6 piece color knife set or a pathwork throw (both throws are 50×60 so they are a decent size) free. Shipping is another $4.99, so for under a $10 spot you can get two items out the door. Both throws look pretty nice and I ordered a set for me, for a family member, and for a friend so hopefully I didn’t take up all their stock. Find out the details (i.e. link and coupon codes) in the Forums here!

Here’s the scoop, you can pick up the RiDATA ARITA 4.7GB 8X DVD+R 25 Pack for $10.99. Go to Newegg.com and look for item # N82E16817132016. Not that great of a deal though…yet. Now you should mosey on over to Here for a $10 rebate. Now this deal is starting to look a little bit better. Throw in to the mix the fact that you will get 3 day business shipping for F-R-E-E and now you’re talking! This will probably sell out soon so get it while you can. Enjoy!

Online dating has become a pretty big market and with all the different online dating sites around how can you know which one will work for you? Most of them nowadays charge a subscription fee so normally you have to plunk down your cash before you get to give the site a full test drive. But there are some sites that offer free trials where you can test out the site to see if it is worth your time, effort, and money. I had a friend ask me if there were any deals for online dating sites so I spent some time looking into them and here is the list of free trials you can get for a few of the different top notch sites:
Match.com Free 3 Day Trial
Yahoo Personals Free 7 Day Trial
Chemistry.com Free 7 Day Trial
You can also create a free profile for a few sites:
Date.com Free Profile
FriendFinder.com Free Profile
And there are sometimes discounts floating around:
Match.com 15% Off
Gay.com 50% Off
Enjoy the ‘free dates’!

Netflix vs Blockbuster has been an ongoing battle for the past couple years but I think Netflix took a huge step in really squashing Blockbuster. If you want to read the full article you can do so HERE, I’ll give you the short version, basically Netflix allows members to view movies online (but only a certain number of hours per month), but in this article you will find that Netflix has just removed the restrictions so you can watch as many hours of movies/tv shows online as you want each month. Combine that with that fact that the prices for new TV have come way down and this gets to become a killer for Blockbuster because most new TVs can be connected to your computer, so now you can watch these ‘online movies’ from Netflix on your regular TV, it’s like having a movie rental store in your Family Room!
Now, there are quite a few different ways to connect your computer to your TV, HERE is a great article that talks about the different ways. I’ll tell you from my personal experience that the easiest way to hook up your TV to your computer is through a VGA cable (this is the cable that connects your computer to your computer monitor), but your TV needs to have a VGA input in order for you to do this. Check out that article for other options in connecting your TV to your computer if you do not have a VGA input on your TV. If you’re a current Netflix subscriber then you can use this right now so get to it, but if you’re not a Netflix subscriber you can test this all out for free through a promotion that Netflix is having. Here is a link which will allow you to sign up to Netflix and try it out for free because it’s always better to try before you buy (or at least I think so). Enjoy!!!
