I came across a website that will send out free faxes for you (which is very helpful at least for me because it is always a hassle when I need to fax something), all you simply do is attach the file you want to send and fill out the appropriate info and there you go. This magic faxing site can be found Here… So I went to Walmart today to get some regular every day things and as I was wandering through the store I was price comparing things to the deals I have seen online recently. Let me tell you that Walmart for all their “we have everyday low prices” does not even compare to Amazon.com for the items I was looking at. Amazon has the Scene It! DVD games for anywhere from $5 to $25. Guess what Walmart’s price was…? Read the rest of this entry »
Great coupon if you’re into PS3, it is good for ANY game… Read the rest of this entry »
To start out I wanted to brag that I made the right call about the Arrested Development deal selling out. I don’t know how close I was to the time I guessed, but I guessed 1:00 p.m. and I couldn’t get to the computer until 2:50 p.m. and it was sold out by then, so it was a pretty good call by me, yeah me.
Let’s talk coupon codes, they have been popping up like crazy recently and if you are buying something online and not using a coupon code then STOP and make sure you aren’t missing out on saving yourself some bucks. There is a coupon code category in the Forums section which you can find here. Some of the recent codes I have listed are for Macys, Victoria’s Secret, Champs, Footlocker, Gamestop, Kohl’s, Baskin Robbins, Borders… If you’ve placed an order at one of these places and you didn’t use a coupon code, it is definitely worth a shot to call up their customer service and ask them to apply the code for you. If for some reason you get a badazz rep who won’t do this, and the store didn’t ship the items yet you could tell them then to cancel your order so that you redo it with the coupon code, and that you would like to talk to the manager to complain about the hassle of doing this due to their unfriendly service. This will usually get the ball rolling in your favor and they should end up helping you… Read the rest of this entry »
The deal of the day (which you should see right above this post) is awesome, all three seasons of Arrested Development for $30. The absolute cheapest I have ever seen a single season was $15, and usually they are closer to the $20-25 range, so all three seasons for $30 is a steal. If you haven’t seen this series check out the reviews. My official guesstimate is that this will sell out by 1:00 p.m. (I already know about 10 people who have mentioned this deal to me and have purchased it and it’s not even 10:00 a.m. yet). Anywho… I thought I’d mention this now before it sells out, I’ll be back later today to add to this post when I have time..
Thought this deal was front page worthy as the cheapest price on Pricegrabber is $117. I don’t expect these to last in stock very long…
Halo 3 Legendary Edition Xbox 360
Halo 3 Collector’s Edition Xbox 360
I am on a movie bing now (I have both Netflix and Blockbuster free subscriptions going on which is allowing me to test out a whole bunch of DVDs to see what is worth buying), if you have the chance to see Planet Earth
I HIGHLY recommend it. It is a BBC program in the same realm as a National Geographic (it is visually stunning and blows away National Geographic) in a 4 disc set and it is Awesome (notice the capital A in Awesome). I’ve only gotten through the first disc in the set so far and I love it… So I ordered these Christmas Reindeer front lawn decorations from Sears online and I chose to do in-store pickup to save myself the $7 shipping charge I would have been hit with to have it delivered to my house (there is a Sears location 2 minutes from me so what the hey). If you are not familiar with this process here is how it works, you place your order, choose in-store pickup, and then wait for an email telling you that the item is at the store and ready to be picked up (and by doing this you avoid shipping fees). I got that email telling me to get my butt to the store to pick up my reindeer (which were an awesome sale that I posted about in the Forums section). So I take my hop, skip, and a jump to Sears and I go to the front desk, hand them the print out of my order which said the items were at the store, wait a minute for the girl to punch some things into the computer, and then hear the words “Ummm, sorry, these items are not here…” Read the rest of this entry »
Late night last night I watched Futurama: Bender’s Big Score
which is a full length movie that Futurama fans will enjoy. I thought it was very entertaining and relevant (i.e. the part about spamming and ‘winning the lottery’ emails is hilarious yet so true… no I am not giving away anything). I’d recommend this movie to watch, and also to give as a gift to any Futurama fan. Though $20 for a regular DVD is a tad bit on the expensive side, it is definitely a movie I would watch more then once so I may consider buying it. If you don’t buy it I’d definitely at least rent it, and you could do so for free using the free Netflix code I posted in the Forums section here. Enough of the movie review business…back to deals! My Christmas shopping is nearly complete yet I find myself still buying a lot of things because of all the sales, I may complete next year’s Christmas shopping this year! What’s on tap recently? How about B1G1 Free for HD DVDs
. $10 HD DVDs are in my price range, I refuse to pay $20+ for a single DVD so I love when they have this type of sale! If you’re in the market for an affordable MP3 player there is a 1GB Creative Zen for $19.99 here. There are some great deals on board games that ‘dealkid’ posted about and I found a few myself, such as Disney Monopoly for $8.99, The Simpsons: Life and The Simpsons: Clue for $5-6 each (I had to get one of each of the Simpsons for myself
) which you can find in this forum thread. If you’re in need of some 007 action you can see the daily deal for Amazon today is the James Bond Collector’s edition for 60% off. I get to pass on this deal because I already own it, I received it as a gift two months ago and within a month I watched every single movie in the box set!!! This is an awesome gift for any James Bond fan, and it spans the entire James Bond saga so you get to see all 6 different James Bonds actors (yes, they are six of them!) throughout the 21 different movies. There is a Bissell 1970R Steamer (refurbed) on sale here: Bissell Steamer 60% Off
. I purchased this maybe a month or two ago and it is money. Carpet stains gone in a flash, especially this large ketchup one that had been bothering me for quite some time so if you need a steamer then give it a look. And for those Care Bear lovers out there this sale will tickle you pink: Care Bear Sale
as the Care Bears are selling for over 70% off! Arghhh, too many sales, my place is gonna look like a warehouse pretty soon. That’s all for now, check out the UsedShoe forums section for deals I posted yesterday and I’ll be posting a boatload more later tonight.
Sale can be found here: Trampoline Sale
Spring into action on this deal (pun intended… don’t throw tomatoes though it was a Fonzy bear type of joke). I’m not sure if this is a clearance sale or a price mistake but these prices seem very low to me compared to the prices I see on trampolines when I’m wondering through Costco. A 12 foot trampoline is $88 (with free shipping), a 13 footer is $92 and a 14 footer is $99 (these do not have free shipping, but shipping is only $10). If I only had a big yard to bounce within I’d be getting 3 of these and pretending I was 12 again. They sell enclosures seperately if you are concerned about someone bouncing off the trampoline. I’m going to only post one blog entry per day from now on, but I will try to post anywhere from 5 to 10 deals a day in the Forum section of UsedShoe. This will save me time and allow me to post more total deals per day for your money saving pleasure. I think the forum section is also easier to view a whole lotta deals, so don’t forget to check out the forum section every now and again (or daily
) for a whole slew of deals.

You can find this deal here: Mission Paintball
. I am not a paintball player but I thought this would make a pretty good and inexpensive Christmas gift for someone who was just starting out, and at 75% off the price is right. I looked on Target’s website and they are selling the same exact product (the picture looks different because it is assembled in Target’s picture) for $26.99. You can see their price here: Target Link. So you could actually get both guns that they sell on Amazon for CHEAPER then buying just one of them at Target, now that’s a good deal! Enjoy the paintball!
The Gold Box Deal of the Day for Amazon today is the KitchenAid 4.5 Quarter mixer. You can find it here: Kitchenaid Mixer 60% Off Today Only
. Regular price is $270, today it is $110 with free shipping. The reviews on this thing is stellar so if you are a big time cook then you may want to consider it. I myself have this same product (except it is either the 5 quart or 6 quart one, can’t remember offhand) and it works like a charm (I’m a big pancake kinda guy so this whips it up nicely)… Read the rest of this entry »
This is a bit off topic, but maybe not really if I save you some money. So I purchased two DVDs from Target one day and they had free movie passes to The Golden Compass inside them which I was excited about because I wanted to see the movie. I had seen previews for it and the movie looked really good. The previews lied. The movie was not good, in fact it was horrible. There were some cool graphics and animations I admit, but they could not overcome the fact that the plot was convoluted and so far fetched that I spent the majority of my time in the movie theater contemplating if I should get up and leave… Read the rest of this entry »
iRobot Roomba Vacuum 50% Off
I expect this to sell out very quickly (like within hours or minutes) as it was sold out earlier and now they restocked it and raised the price $5. It is the iRobot Roomba 4199 (it is remanufactured). This is ideal to vacuum smaller rooms on it’s own, just turn it on and walk away. Nice price point if you’re in the market for one.
This isn’t really a deal, but I thought it was pretty cool and deserved to be mentioned on here (plus you can get free shipping until 12/31). This site allows you to make custom M&Ms which may be fun if you’re hosting a party and wanted to include a bag with your party favors. The interface is fun for the first minute or two of using though I’m not ordering anything from here…Link here
