Let me start off by saying that the UsedShoe weekly free giveaway got underway last night and is off to a pretty decent start, I just purchased today the free giveaway items for the next three weeks - though I won’t tell you what they are, we’ll leave ya a little something to look forward to

I have been finding freebies all over the place in the past 24 hours and I have been posting them all in the freebies forum. What kind of freebies you ask? A plethora of free magazine subscriptions, and the nice thing about them is you don’t need to enter in any credit card jazz or anything like that. There’s also a few free cookbooks that I’ve managed to find for you cooks out there (if you wanted to bake me a cake that would be nice). Hmmm, what else… ahhh yes, my favorite freebie so far is a Chivas Regal Flask, and coming in 2nd place was a free used Video game (I picked James Bond for PS2). If you take advantage of the freebies I found drop me a line in the message board and let me know. I want to make sure I’m not doing all this searching in vain, otherwise I’ll stop scouring the earth for free things. Enough about that, you can peruse them for yourself.

Amazon is back to their DVD promotions with a Blu Ray Buy 1 Get 1 Free Sale. There are around 44 titles to choose from which gives you a pretty nice selection. And if I may complain about Walmart just one more time, I mentioned in a posting (at least I think I did) maybe 2 weeks ago that I bought a Sony Cybershot for $89 with free in-store pickup. After waiting a week or two they notified me that my order was cancelled (they never said why) and they were sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks a lot Walmart! So I picked up the same camera from Amazon (which you can see here) for $99 this morning, and the nice thing is they have a promotion going on where if you buy this camera and a Canon printer you get a $60 rebate, the printer costs $60 so in the end I’m getting the printer for free (eat a rotten donut Walmart).  Enjoy the freebies and I’ll catch ya on the flipside of the weekend!
