Walmart is starting their Black Friday sales early, as in Tomorrow, and if you’ve been wanting a HD-DVD player then this may be the time to get one. Also on sale are HD-DVDs for $14.98 and an Acer laptop for $348…

Sears is selling the HD-DVD player for around $250 and with the price match they are supposed to give you back 10% of the difference (which would be about $15). So the HD-DVD player price would then be around $85 at Sears (assuming they honor their price match policy).

Welp, in case you were going to try buying it tonight and then going back for the price refund match tomorrow don’t bother. I attempted. The employees acted all shady when I asked where the HD-DVD player was (because I couldn’t see any). Finally one of them goes “You can’t buy it until tomorrow”. So I said “If I want a HD-DVD player right now you won’t sell it to me” and they said “No”. What I find hilarious is how they thought they were all cool and acted like they were empowered over me by telling me no. I don’t want to be there at the butt crack of the morning in a crowd of 200 people hoping to get 1 out of the probably 10 that they will have. Arghhhh, what to do, what to do.
