Going for the Gold : Part 2 : Quest for a Free 42′ Samsung Plasma TV
If you read my first post, which you can find here, you will know that I am attempting to get a 42′ Samsung Plasma TV for free (well almost free, it will cost me around $50 give or take a few bucks)…
I had completed 12 trial offers late last week and every day I have been checking on the site to see if they received confirmation of my trial offers being successful. So I just happened to check 2 minutes ago and much to my surprise I saw the word approved next to my first trial offer, and next to my second one, and third one, and…ALL TWELVE of them…
In order to get the free TV I had to complete 2 offers from the first batch, 2 offers from the 2nd batch, and 8 offers from the final batch. I (per my Approved!’s above) have satisfied this requirement. Now in order to get my free TV I need to refer someone to complete 12 of the offers just like I did (and that person will need to find someone in order to get their free TV, etc…). I have a few perspective people in mind, and now seeing how quickly the turnaround time was for this I am pretty excited to refer one of them and have them complete their offers quickly. I spent about $50 on the trial offers and I’ll be getting quite a few things… 3 DVDs, coffee, ties, jewelry, stamps, music, Spanish tutorial, and a few other things so it’s not like my $50 got thrown away. Tomorrow my task is finding someone to refer. Once I refer someone and they complete their 12 offers I will post an update here. Hopefully at that time I should get a confirmation email stating that my TV is on its way (if all goes well). If this actually works it will be one of the greatest deals I’ve ever taken part in…
Update: There has been interest in this deal and people want to do it but they don’t think they can find a referral. I have started a “Referral Line” page which will help eliminate this problem. If you want in on this deal this will help you out…

I am DEFINITELY interested. I did the laptop deal myself, no problems, rebates are all validated (used the spreadsheet from SlickDeals (probably same one you did)) and I would FOR SURE be willing to give this a shot. Send me the spreadsheet you used to track this deal, let me take a look, but I’m very good at staying up on my cancellations and paperwork, so these deals are like taking candy from a baby. The only problem is I have NO ONE to refer myself…if you could insert me between one of your friends or something that’d be great. anyways, contact me via my email.

why don’t you just make up some name. or use some relatives name to complete another 12 offers? that’s legit….

i don’t think it is easy as that. i’m sure they track your IP address so you’d need to complete the offers from another location. and you need to get things shipped to your house, and you can’t use the same home address so if you have a relative who doesn’t mind having things come to their house. if by some chance they find out then you’ll have completed 24 offers for nothing so to be safe it is easier to use a true referral.
