My wife did the same program for a free ipod a couple of years ago when they were still expensive. The companies are legit, but one of the popular signup offers, PeoplePC, took 3 times longer than any other to report that you had "joined" to the organizer. I did the same thing for a 360 platinum around Christmas, and got in in March. Best of luck, it can be done! Good luck.
