Stay in Hotels for FREE, Yes…For FREE!

Need to get away for a night but don’t want to pay big bucks for a hotel room, how does free sound???

I will begin this article by saying if you want to get a hotel room for free it requires a little work on your part.  It took me about an hour of my time but I have a free room at the upscale Ramada in NYC for a Saturday night next month which would cost $350 if you reserved it and paid for it.  I am getting it totally free… zip, zero, nada, no cost!!!  You can do this for hotels anywhere in the U.S…

This will not work for 100% of the hotels in the U.S., only for certain chains such as Ramada, Days Inn, Super 8, Wingate, Baymont, Howard Johnson’s, Travelodge, Knights Inn to name a few.  You can find this deal here. Let me explain how this works so you get the general idea. The website whose link I provided guarantees that they offer the best rate available anywhere. If you find a rate somewhere else for the same exact room type (i.e. a room with a Queen bed and non-smoking as an example) that is cheaper then all you need to do is reserve that room, contact the website whose link I provided, give them the information and they’ll take 24 hours to do the research to confirm you got the room cheaper elsewhere and when they confirm it they will give you the room for free. Then you call back the original place you reserved the room with and cancel that reservation. I have done this, I can confirm this is not a gimmic and it works, but it may take a little time to find a place with a cheaper rate. The sites I looked on were Orbitz, Travelzoo, Travelocity, Expedia, Kayak, and a few others. I’ve done this deal three time and on average it took me about an hour of my time to get a free room, but the ‘free’ room was a $300+ room each time, so it was definitely worth it. It was nice to get the hotel room for free and use the ‘hotel room money’ that I would have had to pay to either go out for a fancy dinner and a show or do some shopping. If you have some free time and want to get away for free give it a shot. Enjoy the “free” hotel stay!

Congrats! I was amazed myself at getting a $300 for free for only putting in an hour of “work”, haha. It definitely is ideal for those one night getaways! Enjoy.
