This is a great deal for the new Office product, which Microsoft never usually sells at a discount unless it is like 5 years old…

So you need to be a student to get this deal, or at least you need to have a student email address (which is usually @xxxx.edu).  So even if you’re not a student, you can try to find access to a family member or friend that is to help you take advantage of this deal.  I looked on Amazon.com to see the regular price (cuz I’m a curious guy) and it is $600+.  See for yourself here. This is a huge savings deal, and students could always benefit from having the latest and greatest software (especially something like MS Office which students use every day!).
