There have been similar promotions a few weeks ago but this may be the last one before Christmas. If you purchase any Toshiba HD DVD player you get 10 HD DVDs for free. Considering that the HD DVDs sell for $20-25 each you’re getting $200 to $250 worth of DVDs for free. The cheapest DVD player is the A3 which is $225 with free shipping, so you’re getting $450 worth of stuff for half price (if you look at it that way… glass half full or half empty?). I picked up the A3 a few weeks ago and I’m very happy with my purchase. If you do not have a good tv set then I would not bother, but if you have at least a 720 and definitely a 1080 then you should pick up a HD DVD player!
