First off let me give you the code, it is XMSCION03 (the first 7 are letters and the last two are digits). Link to XM Radio.
When you get your new XM radio and you want to activate it, ACTIVATE IT ONLINE to use this code. On Step 2 of the activation process online there is a place to enter a promo code. Enter this promo code. On the last step it will tell you that the promo code was accepted and that the activation is free and 3 months are free. I just used this code today about 8 hours ago and it worked for me. Just an FYI: I purchased the Audiovox Xpress EZ on Ebay (with the SureConnect) for $30. There is a $20 rebate on this unit, so I paid $10 for an XM Receiver, SureConnect (which is one method to transmit the XM to your car stereo), activation, and 3 months ALL FOR $10 (great deal considering if I bought this all from the XM Radio website I would have paid over $100). January 8th, 2008 - still works. For 1 year the total was $111.84 while the regular price is $157.84. Discounts were $9.99 off activation fee (current activation fee is $14.99) and $35.61 off 1 year service fee (current 1-year fee is $142.45)

Just used it, and it worked for free activation. I don’t think it worked for 3 months free service, but I selected the quarterly plan … so maybe that had something to do with it? Thanks for the tip, though.
